The surroundings are quite nice, nestled near a park that’s perfect for a good stroll. The historical architecture of the building adds character and charm, enhancing the overall experience of the stay.

The amenities in the room felt outdated, with stained carpets and furnishings that could use a refresh. The shower pressure was weak, especially when trying to combine hot water, which made for an unsatisfying experience. There were numerous steep stairs to navigate with no lift, which could be a hassle. the distance from attractions might be a challenge if you're not driving.

I had a lovely stay for three nights where I enjoyed some beautifully cooked scrambled eggs at breakfast and a peaceful evening reading in the garden. There are some great spots to relax, like the sun terrace and spacious grounds, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Just a heads up, the WiFi was a bit spotty during my time there, but it didn't dampen my experience. 😊

This place suits me perfectly with helpful staff, free parking, and a cozy bar/lounge. On my first stay, they helped me with tips about the town. I recommend trying the hiking trails nearby!

Had a lovely time exploring this old lodge with its rich history. The main entrance is stunning, and there's even a cute little church nearby. Only had drinks at the bar, but the atmosphere was chill. Just a heads up, the car park is pay-and-display now, which caught us off guard.
